The Story
4-Course Supper + Mezcal Tasting
This 4-course dinner & mezcal tasting is an homage to the land, people, & stories of our beloved neighbor, Mexico. It is a celebration both of local community agriculture & of Oaxaca, birth place of corn & mezcal- or maiz y mezcal. We are thrilled to be joining together with Matt from Cultured Spirits to source artisinal Oaxacan agave mezcal handcrafted by the Hernandez family of Mezcal Pluma Negra in San Juan del Rio. Matt will be on site sharing stories & sips of this exquisite mezcal with us, guiding diners through 4 flavors of this stone ground, earthen oven baked, traditional mezcal.
Plates will be colorfully filled with savory, saucey, & perfectly spicy flavors of Oaxaca & feature organic, locally farmed, wildforaged, & heirloom foods + a flight of mezcal paired perfectly with each course.
** A portion of ticket sales is donated directly to a non for profit supporting the local community of San Juan del Rio **
Tickets are limited & non-refundable for this dinner to provide the intimate space needed for such an experience,
We look forward to sharing with you all,
Please wear bright colors & bring something warm to cloak yourself with as the hours fade into evening.
See you soon,
